BD Construction are fantastic to deal with. Thoroughly professional with great attention to detail. Darrin and the team were able to complete our complex project involving an older timber construction house and bring it back to new as well as incorporating a modernising renovation. Even when there were issues beyond BD control with other contractors, Darrin ensured that the job was completed to his high standards. We have used BD for two big renovation projects on two over-100-year-old houses (one a big post-earthquake renovation of a two-storied Victorian villa; one a smaller Victorian cottage when we down-sized). Darrin and Nick and the builders at BD are a team of great builders and overall genuine honest people. They carried out an extension on our 1920's Bungalow and the seamlessness between the original and the new was second to none. They got EQC involved on some historic issues that weren't fixed properly and their assistance through this process was incredible. I can highly recommend.

BD Construction undertook a renovation project for our client in 2023 and, although not everything went according to plan, Darrin & his team were quick to resolve any issues that arose. Adam was an excellent site manager, very thorough and attentive and was quick to gain our trust. The finished result is very pleasing and we would happily work with them again.

We worked with BD on a large complex renovation that involved every room in our 100 year old house. The brief was to reuse as much material as they could even the though we changed the internal layout. The vision was to still have our house feel like our home. The team bought that to reality. They are very open and offered many suggestions to improve our design. They were quick to communicate and solved some wicked problems.
