James and his team did an amazing job on our renovation / extension. Pretty much the whole house was altered in two phases, allowing us to 'live in' whilst the work was going on, making our life much easier. The workmanship and attention to detail was spot on and James' project management ensured we didn't have to stress about anything...it all went very smoothly, on time and on budget. We are over the moon with the end result which has totally changed the way we live in the house. Naturally, we would use Build Me again and would have no hesitation in recommending Build Me to anybody looking for a professional building firm.

James and his team renovated a bathroom for us, turning it into an area more suited to a person with disabilities (walk-in shower with tiled walls and floor, grab rails, etc). The team were respectful, good-humoured and courteous and fitted their work programme in around our busy lives. We are very happy with the finished result and would not hesitate to recommend James and his team to others.

Build Me are the ultimate Dream Team!! When James came out to have a look at our 2 bedroom extensions and give us a quote, we knew right away this was the company we wanted to use. James’ quote came in within our budget, and their fortnightly billing ensures there aren’t any surprises. James and his team had to come up with some creative solutions, including us in all the discussions. There was always a solution we were completely happy with. Andy and Josh came out to do the initial work, and then Tom and Josh picked it up and finished it off. I can’t sing all of these builders' praises highly enough. They are all incredibly professional, excelling at their trade, and just really lovely people. Every tradesman who came to the house from Build Me was just as impressive. The project finished on budget and on time and the end result went beyond our expectations! It looks amazing and we are absolutely thrilled. We loved working with Build Me so much, we asked them to do another big job we’d been thinking about - re-cladding our damaged cedar exterior to weatherboards. Again, James worked within our quote, coming up with creative solutions to do so. Tom and Josh have continued on to do this job, and we are over the moon with the results. Tom and Josh are wonderful to have around, feeling almost like family now. They come on time every day (and have done so since we started all these renos 5 months ago) and are always so positive and work so hard. They have helped with other smaller jobs as well, like hang our new front door. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. If they can’t come (weather, etc) they always let us know. James checks in regularly and we catch up over a cuppa. We have yet another job that they’re quoting now, and I know they’ll find a way to make it work, in time and in budget, at the highest standard. We trust them completely and never have to question the comprehensive invoices, the schedule, or their methods. We feel so lucky to have found Build Me. They get everything right and are the epitome of The Dream Team! We’ll never use anyone else.

Our BuildMe Nelson job wasn’t the sexiest build-of-the-year, but it was far more complex than meets the eye. What amounted to a ‘ship in a bottle’ brief, James and his team undertook an extremely challenging job with professionalism, skill, and enthusiasm. As an architect, I’m obsessed with details (some would call it perfection) and enjoy problem-solving collaboration with like-minded builders. Can’t say enough good things about the project’s lead builders, Tim and Charlie. 100% happy. Oh, and by the way, they saved us a lot of money by using recycled materials when possible.
