Paul Kirby and his excellent team built my house in 2021. I still feel joy everytime I walk in the door. The house is warm, the views through the huge windows are great and the tilework in the kitchen and bathroom is stunning. The quality of the kitchen cabinetry and countertops is lovely and easy to maintain. So is the polished concrete floor with its under floor radiant heating system. The electrical folks on the job were top notch too. Paul assembled such a fine team that the build went smoothly despite impacts from covid on some deliveries. Everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy working together and I certainly liked getting to know the lads as I was often on site watching the project progress. I received many complimentary comments about the build and the workmen from my neighbours too which was great. But enough about the house and all the terrific subbies. I first met Paul Kirby in 2015 when I purchased the falling down workingman's cottage that would become my dream habitat. Paul performed a walk through inspection with me and I knew that I had found the builder I wanted to work with when it came time to build. I was so sure about Paul that I didn't bother with obtaining other quotes. His pricing was fair and I have no regrets about the finished product. I highly recommend Paul and his company PKB Otago and hope your experience will be as wonderful as mine was.

PKB did outstanding work for us in the design and build of a large deck on our home, plus carrying out refurbishment work on our rental property (especially the kitchen and living areas) prior to sale. Paul, Soraya and the team did a great job on our new double garage. Looks absolutely mint. We have previously used them to do a new bathroom and were impressed with their attention to detail and workmanship. Their builders also keep everything so clean and were friendly and approachable at all times. Stoked with the new garage!
