Macro construction recently completed our new build and we are so grateful for the experience we had from start to finish. Simon helped us understand the building process and gave us his knowledge and advice along the way that we would not have known otherwise, we felt very involved and in safe hands. We had no surprises, issues or delays which we thought was so impressive with the supply demand at the time of our build, this showed what a reputable company they are. We are extremely happy with the quality of the build and were impressed with the workmanship along the way. We strongly recommend Macro Construction to anyone thinking about building a new home or renovating their place.

James and Simon, alongside their team, took on our new build at Waihi Beach, including project management, which was completed in April 2025 and took 15 months. It was a 300 sq m new home. The areas they excelled in were communication and attentiveness, workmanship and the organisation/coordination of the subtrades. Since completion they have followed through on the few things that have needed further attention. They also guided us through decision making when practical problem solving was required. It was good to use local builders who clearly take pride in their work and the finished product. We are thrilled with the final result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Macro Construction recently replaced our old concrete driveway. Simon and James have excellent communication skills and offered us sound advise when needed. The job was completed on time with minimal disruption for us and nothing seemed to phase the friendly team. Simon & James project managed this from start to finish, coordinating all the trades and other contractors. This involved removing old concrete, installing drainage and stormwater systems, setting up underground power and pouring and shaping the concrete to a fine finish. They also installed a fence and entrance gate. We are extremely happy with the end result and would highly recommend Macro Construction for any building project.

We recently had our Bach built by Simon and his team, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Simon communicated excellently throughout the project, and despite supply issues during the COVID period, the project management was exceptional with no delays. The team's workmanship was impeccable, and their commitment to after-sales service was flawless. Simon and his team were excellent in renovating an older house. Totally refurbished the interior including replacing windows and doors. New kitchen, bathroom, laundry. Ceiling replaced, walls stripped off wallpaper and painted. Floors replaced. Exterior, new roof and painted. Excellent communication. Before and after photos added.
