LIGHTNING CONSTRUCTION - Queenstown and Central Otago Builders

I've worked with Lightning Constructions for many years. They have done multiple projects for me, including the construction of 2 x homes, Carpark structural work at our hotel, and are currently building another house for us. I've also referred them to other groups who have used them as well. I highly recommend them as an extremely professional team... Chris, Dave and the entire staff are very diligent, with great attention to detail and superb value. All of their projects have come in on budget and very close to forecasted times.

Lightning were moderately fast with our renovation. It was a major reno with (in the end) all but three studs being changed in the downstairs and we went quicker than the other two projects on at the same time in the street. Quality of the work was really good. Chris and Dave gave us great advice during the project and had good ideas about what we could do as we got into it. Their advice was so helpful. We would use them again. They probably did over promise on completion time but that would be our only quibble. They were very responsive throughout to what we wanted to achieve and wanted to give us a good experience and a house that we would really like. We found all of the builders on site to be very approachable. Giselle in the office was super-organised and always a pleasure to deal with.

A big shout out to Chris and Lightning Construction!! Thanks to their great effort and excellent workmanship we are living in a lovely new home. The suggested alterations during the build transformed the usefulness of many aspects making the house much more livable. Chris has a real flair. We are very happy the we used Lightning Construction for our new home.

Chris and his team delivered a tricky renovation for us. From the initial design phase through to completion their tradesmanship, professionalism and attention to detail were spot on. We have recently completed a build of a 1 bedroom villa with Lightning Construction. The whole build process was made extremely seamless and stress free due to the professionalism of the team. The build is very good quality inside and out, and we appreciated recommendations along the way. Communication was incredible and we felt everyone went above and beyond.
