Design Builders Waikato designed and built our beautiful home, even winning an Award at the Waikato House of the Year. The whole process was easy and well-managed, and the team was great to deal with — organised, approachable, and professional throughout. The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and the end result was exactly what we’d hoped for. I’ve added a photo so you can see the finish for yourself. We initially struggled to find a builder who could understand and bring our house design vision to life. Fortunately, we found Jeff from Design Builders, and our experience took a positive turn. Jeff had fantastic ideas and worked closely with us to develop a floor plan that perfectly suited our needs. His creativity and expertise were evident throughout the design phase. The build process went exceptionally well. We received continuous updates and Jeff, along with site manager Darryn, was always available to address our numerous queries. This level of communication made the entire experience stress-free. Our whole family loves our new home, and we often receive compliments from neighbours who say our house is their favourite in the area. From our first meeting with Jeff to discuss the essential concepts and ideas which we identified for our new build to the handing over of the keys we had a great experience with Design Builders. We were so pleased when our ideas were transformed into a concept plan which we were happy with. Jeff and his team were open to negotiation and adaptations in order to meet our budget and other than any changes we made the budget did not change. All of the Design Builders Team were easy to work with, they kept us fully informed at each step of the build process as well as ensuring that any decisions we needed to make were on time and fully informed. Any problems or issues were easily discussed and resolved with a phone call or a meeting. We were given full access to the building during the process which was exciting to be able to see our home growing on a daily basis. Our house was completed by Design Builders on time and to a high standard, the team worked cohesively and closely with us throughout the process and we were very happy with our house which soon became a home. Having had a small 1960 bach in the Coromandel Peninsula for over 15 years, we love the area and knew that we could have something special there. Jeff and his team at Design Builders listened to our wish list, and helped us bring our ideas together to give us a house we can be proud to have built. Working with Design Builders Jeff Mara and his team made the process of building seem relatively effortless. At the design stage Jeff had unending patience with us as the design evolved. The build was kept on target with our efficient project manager. All aspects were thought of including interior decor. Allof the tradespeople completed the work to the highest standard.
