The Renovators Nelson Ltd

Earlier this year I chose The Renovators to complete renovate my very outdated bathroom. I had a shower over the bath and as I got older I didn't want to be climbing into the bath to have a shower. What I wanted was a bath length shower and a stylish new bathroom.....and that is exactly what I got! From the builders, Liam and Laith, the plasterer and painter, Darryl, to Claire in the office and Nick, the project manager everyone did an amazing job. Also a big shout out to Terry who came up with the original concept. Communication was great. Everyone was very respectful of being in my space and made it a good experience. The bathroom is a real joy to use and a recent visitor said it was just like being in a hotel!! They also relaid my second level decking and it looks amazing! Can't wait for Summer and drinks on the deck. I would thoroughly recommend The Renovators as being totally professional in the work they do and completing it to a very high standard. Given the opportunity I would certainly use them again.

We are very happy with our ensuite makeover. The entire team at The Renovators have been helpful,courteous and a pleasure to deal with. From our original idea to the finished product the team have been great with communicating any changes that were needed and making suggestions to alternatives. The on-site team made sure the site was clean at the end of each day. We would gladly use them again and recommend them to others

First off, Nick and the team did a first rate job on our renovation and addition. Their workmanship is impeccable. The problem with this company is the owner - Grant. He will come in with a low ball quote to get the job and inform you that 'we cannot guarantee the quote because with renovations there can be problems.' Our quote ballooned in a real world price nearly DOUBLE the quote! As we breached the quote amount and the job was nowhere near finished we started to press asking for a revised quote and completion date - Grant refused to be pinned down on either. Ideally we would have fired him then and there but the project was in a state where it could not be left to wait for another contractor to finish it. The thing is, we ran into another client of the renovators after our job was done and they had EXACTLY the same experience. A reasonable quote was quickly exceeded leaving them with a massive bill for their project. Again their work is good but if you decide to use them tell them the quote MUST be firm and if Grant refuses - WALK AWAY.

Everyone was very professional and easy to deal with. The project was completed on time and on budget. I was very happy with the results and I highly recommend The Renovators!

These guys are great! This is the third time we have used The Renovators for work on our property and they never fail to deliver. Reliable, good communication and high quality workmanship.
