Milestone Homes made my first dream house come to reality. For someone like me who is doing it by myself, it was not easy and straightforward but Hamish and Dan are very accomodating and flexible. They make sure to provide me with best quality materials at an affordable price. Everytime they needed adjustments or changes, they make sure to communicate it with me. I always felt at ease whenever we have meetings or catch ups because they are so open about my concerns, answer my queries with their best knowledge and tries their very best to acheive my requests. I’m so greatful to them for letting me witness the process of the building, they gave me access to visit the site. From signing of the contract to handover, both of them are always there to explain and guide me through the building process and if we are on schedule or not. But most of the time they were on schedule. They were even 5days ahead from the scheduled handover so I got to move in to my new home earlier than expected. Thanks to their professionalism, everything worked so smoothly and I am so happy with the outcome. Planning a new build is not a straight forward process, and this was no different for our fourth build. From our first consultation with Hamish to the final handover, we were impressed with the professionalism of the Milestone Homes team. Hamish was very patient with us during the design process, adapting one of their standard designs to meet our needs and exacting requirements. Dan was brought on as the Project Manager at the start of our build and it was great to watch him grow into this role as our build progressed. By the completion of our build his confidence and communication were a credit to the company. We really appreciated Milestone Homes allowing us access to the site during the build, so we got to work on our landscaping which was practically completed by handover. Being on site also allowed us the opportunity to meet and build a rapport with our builders and tradies. It was great to see a young and talented group of guys (and girls) turn our dreams into fruition. This is supposed to be our final forever home, (just like the last two), and although we don't plan on building again, if we were to, Milestone Homes will be at the top of our list. Mike & Di

Hamish and his team were amazing to work with. From the initial consultation do discuss our needs and budget, right through to ensuring that our vision came to life, our expectations were exceeded. Not only were the plans perfect for our needs, but we were also able to adapt elements to suit our lifestyle. The planning and communication was excellent, working with a sophisticated online portal giving us access to everything that was happening. The team were really flexible and great fun to work with. We were impressed by the streamlined and efficient processes. We are so thrilled with the result; our home is everything we dreamt it would be and we really valued the support that Milestone Homes Marlborough gave us throughout.

We built our house with Hamish in 2023 and moved in the week before Christmas. Hamish helped make the whole process as smooth and hassle free as possible, which was perfect for us being our first time building as opposed to buying. Hamish was great at explaining things to us as we went so we understood the process and what was happening at each stage, he also accommodated all of our last minute changes as they came up and although I’m sure it created a lot more paperwork for him he never said it was an issue and was always more than happy to help make our dream home a reality. Overall we loved the process and now love our new home. We plan on staying here for many years to come but if we move again we would love to do this whole build process with Hamish again.
