Nick is a fantastic builder and building project manager. He's very reliable, efficient and solution-focused. Nick undertook a complete strip out and refurbishment of a basement flat for me after the 2023 floods, and the work was completed to the highest standards. I would recommend Nick and his team to anyone and everyone looking for an honest builder who does exceptional work at very reasonable rates.

Madison Building was our first choice when it came to renovating our home, after having Nick and his team to update our ensuite 4 years ago. This job was bigger (all of the top floor interior and exterior) including the project management of all the trades - in particular the painter/decorators who completely repainted inside and outside of our 1950s weatherboard home. Nick and Tyron’s work is excellent but what we’ve really appreciated is that Nick does what he stays he will - he plans, communicates clearly, offers suggestions and really ensures the quality work not only applies to the building work but also the subtrades. Any jobs big or small Nick remains our first and only choice. Thanks Nick!

Nicks workmanship on our renovation project was highly professional. I rated his attention to detail, not cutting corners and adherence to building to standards, ability to solve some tricky problems and a builder who can read plans and interpret the architects vision. Nick and Tyron have completed 3 sizeable projects for me and all of them have been done with great care, quality and precision. The first of these was a bathroom renovation completion which had been on the 'to do' list for many years (it had been left half done years ago). Nick came up with a beautiful design that we are very happy with. The second was to restore a large area of the house that was damaged by the Auckland floods in 2023 and again, the work was done to perfection. Nick takes great care to review the work done by any subbies (painters, plasterers, electricians, plumbers) to be sure it is up to spec. The most recent work was to replace three smaller cedar shingle roofs that overhang our bay windows. The guys did an amazing job on what is quite technical: they are better than when they were first completed! I've had several people stop to ask me who did the work so they could get in touch. I highly recommend Madison Building for any home improvement or building projects.
