I cant thank the GJ Rodney West team enough for their amazing work, support and advice through our new build. Being first home buyers/builders we were unexperianced and nervous but the GJ team made the experience stress free, seamless and everyone was so knowledgeable. Couldn't recommend them enough! Fiona was incredible at advising on design points that we would never have thought of, her eye for design and knowledge of what works is epic. Keith as our Project manager had the project running without a hitch and made sure our home was built to a very high spec and standard. Thank you GJ Rodney West team!

Recently we moved into our newly completed home built for us by G J Gardner, Rodney West, and having settled in, we would like to now thank every member of the G J Team especially the G J Gardner sales rep, the colour consultant, and the draft persons, also our wonderfully professional project manager plus all the other contributors and tradespeople involved in the project. We couldn’t be more pleased with the result. Our finished home is as exactly as we imagined it to be. They listened, they kept us informed, and they delivered on time. Rodney West Residential did an amazing job even under the troublesome conditions of recent with lockdowns halting work and supply line issues, which I might say, Rodney West Residential saved us from. When deciding to build as opposed to buying an existing home, we were very much aware that we were trusting a lot on good faith as we chose our building company, after all, we were basically flying blind with a bunch of ideas and a set of plans in our hands, but we chose well. Everything from the layout of our stunning kitchen to the immaculate paint finish on the doors and the flawlessly laid tiles worked out perfectly. GJ Rodney recently built a house at 409 Old North Road Kumeu. They installed an illegal drainage pipe/culvert that runs over neighbouring land and floods other 3 neighbouring properties causing property and land damage any time there is heavy rain. They claimed it’s an overland flow path which it is not. And you aren’t allowed to divert water down one even it was. The torrent is so severe that any drainage expert who has looked at it says they have never seen anything like it before and they are astonished it has been left like that. It flooded garages, washed away driveways and renders land unusable. Thousands has already been spent by the victims to make repairs and GJ nor the owner have offered to help. When told about the issue the site manager and land owner had zero remorse and said they were just doing what’s on the plans. They only way this can be resolved is if we take them to court for nuisance and property damage, which we will. It looks like they are going to on-sell it to pass the problem on to someone else. So hopefully anyone looking to buy the property at 409 Old North Road sees this and knows that the new owner will be inheriting legal issues and extremely unhappy neighbours. We will do everything we can to make sure any potential buyer is aware of these issues so they don’t get lumped with a lemon. Feel free to contact any of the neighbours for more details.
