From start to finish this company kept me informed of a laundry renovation project for my 85 year old Mum. My husband and I were most impressed with the professionalism of all the BP Bartlett trade people with the way they related to us and adhered to the timetable. The promptness of the plumbers and electricians together with the workmanship of the builders, cabinet makers and plasterer/painter was first class. The work schedule forwarded to us at the beginning of the repair work made it easy on us.

BP Bartlett did an insurance repair on my rental recently for a damaged gate from high winds where the frame was damaged, picture 1, repair in picture 2 "General Allow for travel to the site. 33.8km Dispose of all related debris. 1 Gate Damage Due to High Winds BP BARTLETT CONSTRUCTION LTD: - Carefully remove the damaged vertical closing-side rail that has become misaligned due to high winds. - Supply and install a new vertical rail in the same position, securing it to the existing gate structure using long screws to ensure stability. - Reattach the existing steel flat brace to the new rail to reinstate structural support. - Seal and paint the new rail and any adjacent disturbed areas to match the existing gate finish. Note: This repair is limited to the damaged vertical rail only. Full gate replacement is not part of this claim." I couldn't believe they charged $1251 for this repair, which wasn't even finished to their scoop of work, unpainted and doesn't look to have been sealed. My estimate (ex GST), wood $87, leaving $1000 for labour, on $60 an hour, that 14 hours of work, plus travel, This was an insurance repair that seems to defy a reasonable cost, maybe BP Bartlett can itemise the cost?
