Auckland Earthworks

Auckland Earthworks created our dream outdoor entertainment area. Prior to finding Auckland Earthworks I had 6 landscapers come around for site visit and quoting. Most of them never even got back to me with the quote. One of the companies said it was too much work and was unachievable. One of the companies quoted me more than double of what Auckland Earthwork quoted me. Auckland Earthwork came around for site visit and gave me a quote on the spot. Nothing was too difficult for them and the planning phase was such a pleasure. Johnny (the boss) was impeccable with his communication throughout the process and they started the job within a couple of days after I accepted their quote. The guys were amazing and incredibly skilled on the digger. They used the digger on the side of my house which is less than 2 metered wide without causing any damage to the house. They used solid materials and the posts for the retaining wall went extremely deep into the ground and heaps of concrete used. The retaining wall is extremely solid and will last a lifetime. Auckland earthworks went over and beyond on my project and even fixed patches in my driveway while they were on site. I must admit I was a little skeptical after Auckland Earthworks quote was less than half of the previous quote I received (for the exact same work) but they delivered over and beyond and made our dream outdoor area a reality. A good business and good people. Highly recommend!

I recently hired Auckland Earthworks for a concrete project, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They did an excellent job prepping the ground and laying the concrete, which turned out even better than we expected. Despite the unpredictable weather, the team stayed on schedule and worked efficiently. Their flexibility was impressive; they were able to adjust plans on short notice, making the entire process smooth and accommodating. However, there were a couple of minor issues. There’s polystyrene stuck between the new concrete pad and the house which we can't get out easily, and they left a hole where they dug to connect the drain with the stormwater pipe, exposing the pipe and connection. We'll need to buy a bag of dirt to fill that up. But overall, we are thrilled with the quality of the work and how professional they were throughout the project. Johnny was great, very easy to deal with and gave great advice. We look forward to using the other services Auckland Earthworks offers for our future projects. Highly recommend them!

We certainly would recommend Johnny and his team. They are super professional, they listen to what is required and check back if you are happy with the job during and after the process. We needed concrete laid out and a bit of tidying up around the yard. His workers are skilled polite and humble. They do not waste time and get on with the job as needed and clean up after. I contacted Johnny to get some landscaping done, artificial turf installation etc at my property. He and his team did an amazing job, highly professional and excellent attention to detail when installing the turf. Very genuine guy to deal with, goes an extra mile to deliver high top notch service. Highly recommended.
