Ryan was very responsive and really quick, it took my .pdf and re draw the plan in compliance within 24hrs! Amazing, I felt lucky to find him as I was desperate… I am very satisfied with the service Ryan provided.

Ryan had a major renovation on his hands when I went hunting for an architect. I was re-modelling an entire house including knocking out a couple of walls, converting a dining room into a Master Bedroom, converting the existing kitchen into an ensuite and WIR, and making the existing Master Bedroom into the new kitchen. And that's just the top floor! He also had to work in new internal stairs into the garage which was going to be converted into a 3rd bedroom. From initial contact with many architects, he was one of the first to respond and, within 1-2 days of contact was onsite with advice and knowledge of what could/needed to be done. He handled all the council consent paperwork on my behalf and was easy to deal with. His price was incredibly reasonable and he beat out competitors charging 3 times as much. I'd highly recommend Ryan at Affordable Design Services.

Ryan (affordable design) was recommended to us by the supplier of the conservatory we planned to add to our property. Ryan was very responsive, responded to e-mails promptly, visited the property and made useful suggestions to improve details of the design. The consent process with DCC went smoothly, and Ryan made all necessary efforts to simplify the consent process and keep cost low (fx. submit the application in a way that excluded as much items as possible with the purpose to reduce inspections by DCC). All in all we were very satisfied with the service Ryan provided.

He’s done plans for me on two separate projects involving building consents, including sorting Code of Acceptable solutions where the original consent didn’t cover everything.
